Model United Nations Conferences

EduQuest believes that students can learn about the ways of the world in the most immersive manner when they step into the shoes of world leaders. What can be a better opportunity for students to learn about global affairs and policy-making than the Model United Nations?

EduQuest has empowered schools to host highly successful editions of their Model United Conferences that eventually grew into annual flagship events for these schools. These include The John’s Model United Nations at St. John’s High School, Chandigarh, along with Delhi Public School, Karnal Model United Nations, and MM International School Model United Nations, Ambala.

While St. John’s High School, Chandigarh, has witnessed four successful MUN editions already, DPS Karnal has had two MUNs in partnership with us. From the entire planning of these MUN conferences to research, training, and recruiting of moderators, we guided the schools and helped them to script new beginnings for immersive learning and holistic development.  Each of the MUN conferences spearheaded by our expert team witnessed participation of more than 300 delegates from 50-plus schools.

These MUNs together enabled thousands of young minds to think like diplomats and global citizens by stepping into their shoes to negotiate solutions for the greater good.

Why Does It Matter?

Opportunities for leadership development and public speaking, like MUNs, are highly crucial in the transitional years of students’ lives. Not only do they groom young students to develop leadership excellence through exposure to global affairs, but they also provide a chance to network with like-minded individuals to collaborate with for projects, learning, and growing together. Even though MUNs are becoming overly common, EduQuest always works in the direction of introducing something new to each MUN and making it different from previous editions. We have our dedicated research teams that rigorously work on exploring relevant agendas and recruiting not just moderators but mentors.

Also, all of the MUNs organized by EduQuest in collaboration with schools follow a systematic approach to training and feedback sharing. Each MUN is supported with orientation and training sessions led by seasoned experts from our team.
