EduQuest organised a 6-day international educational tour to Singapore in collaboration with Hwa Chong International School, giving students an opportunity to experience learning, culture, and student life in one of Asia’s leading education hubs.
The program combined classroom learning with real-world experiences, allowing students to learn beyond their usual school environment. Staying at the Hwa Chong campus gave them a firsthand experience of structured boarding school life, while the academic workshops encouraged them to explore new skills and ideas.
Students participated in age-appropriate learning sessions on Communication Skills and Artificial Intelligence Foundations, with activities designed to encourage interaction, critical thinking, and practical application.
The learning continued beyond the classroom through visits to places such as Gardens by the Bay, Science Centre Singapore, Merlion Park, Universal Studios, and the National University of Singapore (NUS). These experiences helped students connect what they learned with the technology, culture, and innovation they encountered around them.
Why Does It Matter?
For students, international exposure is not simply about visiting a new destination. It is about experiencing a different environment, becoming more independent, and seeing how learning takes place beyond the classroom.
The Singapore program gave students space to learn, explore, interact, and adapt—while building confidence, communication, teamwork, and a broader understanding of the world around them.
It was an experience that brought together education, exploration, and personal growth, making learning a part of every day of the journey.
